Wow what a busy couple of weeks we’ve had recently. I really feel like I’m starting to live this dream.

First off we got the rebuilt XF wheels back ready for the board track racer. They’ve been delayed quite a bit for various reasons but now they’re here they look superb. The butter cream rims give a good idea of what’s to come with the rest of the bikes colouring.

That narrow 21 inch rear wheel is going to look so good!

Having the wheels back fired me up to clear the decks and get the frame jig set up. This time round it’s up on the hydraulic bench which makes things so much easier.

On this same weekend Lewis took the chopper to the annual 3 B’s rally which was near Newbury this year. He entered the bike in to the custom competition with about 15 others and we won Best in Show! We’re both so happy to have won a prize for one of our bikes, let’s hope there are many more!

Planning for the board tracker is well under way. We started with drawings to get the basic look then with the engine on the jig we’ve been making the important decisions about the headstock rake, wheelbase etc. We’re making use of some new capabilities with this build and really enjoying ourselves so watch out for something special!
